does any one have a side by side of the 99 knockoff turn signals off of ebay......a side by side of the jdm smoked and the clear lens both with black housings ..... what i was trying to see is how dark the smoke tint one was compared to the clear lens ....thanks for your help

 

I was told the plastics on these suck. You have to convert to LED to keep the plastic from melting.

 

I have heard of this before.... has anyone had this happen.... i know of some who have run the ebay lights and to my knowledge they have not melted .... well not yet....how many run these with out problems

 

When I was in the market for 99 spec lights I did a few searches and found many people who have the eBay versions and have been running them without a problem. There seems to be a few different companies making them, some of which I wouldn't doubt have terrible quality.
