"You need to chill out with your condescending tone. I understand I asked for comments and you supplied yours, but I don't know why you feel the need to continue commenting within this thread. You made your views known and I accept that."

My comments where not, for the most, part directed at you. I was responding to others. Which I believe I have every right to do.

"BTW - You should try acting less slick because I don't think anyone else in this thread goes around hitting their car in parking lots."

I did not hit my own car. I hit someone elses.

"Sounds like stupidity on your part no matter which way you look at it."

Perhaps. But he pulled out in front of me. Not being a psychic , not sure how I could have known he was going to do that.

"As far as posting and specifically your post count, I think RX7twinturboboy was just trying to point out the fact that you joined in Jan 2006, not really close to your supposed 5-6 year forum membership."

Well he's wrong. I have been on and off this forum for around that long. Ask Goodfella, he may remember me if it means so much to some of you. Do a search for BNR twins.

"On top of that, I don't know what you're talking about in regards to your " I was to busy reading the replys to my posts for content and information to care about how my post count was going" because the only posts I've seen you make are regarding purchases and information about purchasing parts ----not that intellectual of information that it would require you to be "busy" with reading it."

I was talking about my old posts. Thought that was self explanitory.

"I accepted your comments, but you just continued to post arrogant replies to myself and others within this thread."

Hey, you think my replies to others are arrogant, I think your car is a tad boy racer. Guess we are even. :-)

"^The lighting kit is called EVO-R sleek headlight kit. I actually installed HID's with it and so I'm sure it's better than any stock lighting. I haven't had a chance to drive at night yet so I can't confirm, but my last HID's for the C-west headlight kit were exactly the same and were an ENORMOUS increase over stock lighting."

Thanks for the info. Who's HIDs did you use?

Posts: 433 M2 Twin Ball Bearing Turbo Setup Up And Running

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, it took long enough. But it`s up and running now, to say the least! Zero lag. Boost in an instant. M2 says it should be good for around 20psi of boost. But right now I am just using an M2 stage 3 ECU so I am only running 12psi of boost. Once I get a fully programable ECU and big injectors I will start turning up the boost. I have a J & S knock senser with the air/fuel monitor. The air/fuel monitor always reads rich under boost with no indication of knock. So far so good. Now it`s time to play with it a bit to see if there are any bugs to work out and take it to I dyno to get some numbers. Stay tuned."

Who's owned now?

Hopefully I will make it to some meets real soon. I was at the Taste of Chicago all day then watched some weak *** navy pier fireworks. My car isn't ready yet and you would have all just made fun of me for showing up in my jeep or my friends brokeass honda.

^LoL, now why would you think that? There are OTHER shops in Illinois that do just as good if not better work than Body Werks, without the owner being a COMPLETE dick to customers as well as COMPLETELY dicking customers on price and labor.

So to answer your question that would be a HELL NO! Body Werks does do some great work, but I firmly believe great customer service should ALWAYS come first.

BTW - The shop I went to I find out directly from the owner that Body Werks in peak time actually out-sources to them.

^ Yah I think your one of the few people I see around the forums (livin' in Chicago) that I have yet to meet. You mind me asking what you're having done at the bodyshop? I had my car in there for 2 months so I understand, you just have to be patient .

I'm also looking forward to checking out your car. You have a single turbo setup installed, correct? I'm gonna have mine completed in a couple months.

Hey, ya you are also one of the few people I have yet to meet.

Well, this is the second bodyshop my car is at because the first didn't do such a great job with my rear fender flares. I'm picking up my car this week so at least I'll have her back.

As far as parts, I added a GTC bumper, Feed side skirts, rear diffusor, and Pettit GT flares.
I don't have my single installed yet so I bet we'll both be installing our turbos this summer. I also have a brake kit to install. I'm planning on going to the RC3 BBQ so hopfully I'll see you out there.

Thanks guys. I appreciate all the comments. Keep in mind the car is not by any means "done." At this moment I would consider it 35-40% finished and should hopefully be 90-95% completed by the end of Septermber or mid-October.

I'll add pictures of my stereo setup and more car pictures as I take them.

Hey Ramy,

Your totally right about the paint. It's been really hard to truly capture the depth/color of the paint in pictures. I might just have to take some nightshots under a lamp post, hopefully that may help. Next time you visit Chicago we should definitely get together. I almost missed you completely last time you were here, but this time just let me know .

Thumbs up

Hey riz, the car is comming together nicly!

Are you planing on attending the BBQ? I will be there with my car.

I just got back from AR. a 800+ mile road trip with the 7. I started it up for the first time on the 2nd of july, in about 2 years. Trailered it to STL, were Steve Kan gave it a nice tune, then drove the rest of the trip.

If you don't mind I could post a pic or 2. Don't really whant to start a thread yet, because there is some more that I want to finish before I do.

^ Hey Brandon, yah the cars definitely getting there. I'm hoping it should be completed by sometime mid-September. I'm still not sure whether I'll be able to make it to the BBQ. but I'm working on it.

Dude, I can't believe you didn't start your car for 2 years. That must of seriously sucked. I'm sure you're more than ecstatic now though.

Feel free to post pictures if you'd like.

Hope to see you around.

I actually am planning on selling the hood. I would say most likely in 3-4 months. I had a thread in the F/S section "gauging interest" awhile back and you can find further details regarding the hood and pricing.

As for wheels I went with 19x10 (265/30/19) in the front and 19x11 (315/25/19) in the rear. I should be getting the wheels in a month or so from now.

It's about a 1/2 inch increase in the front and a 1 inch increase in the rear. Still relatively modest compared to the other widebody kits out there.

Thanks for the compliment Jay, your cars amazing as well.

Yea Riz...that's very modest. Most front fender flares are 20 - 30 mm (.78" - 1.18"), and the rears are 50 mm (1.97").
