Fair 'nuff. I was thinking about going HoK black diamond 40nm myself...someone once said that sometimes some flecks will do a green sparkle like yours, though the paint sample I saw had nothing of the sort. Just wondering if your look was my end result. Anyway, sweet car!

Thanks! Just a quick comment, I don't mind answering any questions people may have, but please do so within this thread. I would like to keep my PM's free for dealing with buyers/seller and vendors. Thanks again.

Farhan,

You're really doing a number on you're car. Wish I could have seen it when I was up there, before the changes. Did you see the post on my new paint? A little too plain for you, I'm sure! I'ts great to see that you're so creative and not afraid to try you're own ideas.

Dean.

Hey thanks Dean. Yah I wish you could have seen it then as well, I'm sure you would have liked it.

I actually did come across your post and honestly I'm a fan of ALL FD's as long as they're in great condition, which yours DEFINITELY is. The one suggestion I'd like to make is that you should look into purchasing a better camera. I'm SURE your pictures would look 1000 times better with it, especially your new paint job and rims.........trust me I know . Your pictures don't do your wheels, the car, and ESPECIALLY the paint justice. Goodluck with your car, it looks like your well on your way to having yourself an awesome FD .

Riz

^Ahh, that would probably be the problem. Are you taking the pictures in lowlighting conditions? I would say just read through the manual whenever you get a chance and I'm sure your camera will allow you to take some great pictures. It took me sometime as well before I realized how to properly take pictures with mine.

IMO the scoot hood is kinda ugly and you see it on too many FDs now. I think it would have been much better without that scoop in the front but thats just my opinion.

Riz, I'm in the process of getting a very rare FD hood from Japan, PM me and let me know what your looking for I may be able to help you out.

Oh yeah, your car looks kickass! Can't wait to see it in person!

Not sure why it only shows 4 posts. I been around this forum for 5 or 6 years. It's got nothing to do with being a "hater'. You put up the pics for comment so I did.

I call rice.

"Wth is a san francisco treat? is that queer talk?"

Hardly. "Rice a Roni" is the "San Francisco treat". Get it?

Ah for the days of DK.

..........the front lip, rear diffusor, and wing for downforce. The entire car is basically 99 (Authentic) Spec with diffusor, side skirts, and fenders.

This is really the first time I've ever been called Rice. It's kinda suprising to me, but oh well.

I'll have more pics tonight with the new exhuast installed, lights installed, and boost fixed (that ones for me ).

If you've been around for 5 or 6 years, haven't you noticed that posts in certain sections don't count towards your post count?

Sounds to me like you just got

"what part on that car is rice?"

I guess it's the hood and diffusor. Are they "99 (Authentic) Spec"?

"lets see a pic of your car."

Picture a yellow R1 with a stock exterior except for the wheels. Now picture it in the body shop with the front bumper and lights off after some numb nuts crossed in front of me as I was trying to leave a parking lot last week.

"If you've been around for 5 or 6 years, haven't you noticed that posts in certain sections don't count towards your post count?"

No, I guess I was to busy reading the replys to my posts for content and information to care about how my post count was going.

I've been away from this forum for a while perhaps that's why the low count. Don't know don't care.

"Sounds like you just got owned!"

Listen again. This time more closely.

A couple pics of the interior. I had the bodyshop redo all the plastic panels with the same color as my car. The pieces came out awesome.

You need to chill out with your condescending tone. I understand I asked for comments and you supplied yours, but I don't know why you feel the need to continue commenting within this thread. You made your views known and I accept that.

BTW - You should try acting less slick because I don't think anyone else in this thread goes around hitting their car in parking lots. Sounds like stupidity on your part no matter which way you look at it.

As far as posting and specifically your post count, I think RX7twinturboboy was just trying to point out the fact that you joined in Jan 2006, not really close to your supposed 5-6 year forum membership. On top of that, I don't know what you're talking about in regards to your " I was to busy reading the replys to my posts for content and information to care about how my post count was going" because the only posts I've seen you make are regarding purchases and information about purchasing parts ----not that intellectual of information that it would require you to be "busy" with reading it.

I accepted your comments, but you just continued to post arrogant replies to myself and others within this thread.

I guess it's different if the car really does go to a road track from time to time. Maybe I should have said a tad "boy racer" for me. Not that he should care in the least what I think of his car.

I do have a couple of questions for him, who's head light kit is that? And have you used it enough yet to know if helps at all with the poor lighting FDs have?

And I think I may have figured out my low post count. I'm using a different Email address now. Perhaps that's why it doesn't show any of my old posts.

^The lighting kit is called EVO-R sleek headlight kit. I actually installed HID's with it and so I'm sure it's better than any stock lighting. I haven't had a chance to drive at night yet so I can't confirm, but my last HID's for the C-west headlight kit were exactly the same and were an ENORMOUS increase over stock lighting.
