I love soundstream & JL subs .... I lived with that combo for 2.5 years! Looks good .. any idea how much weight you are adding?

Thanks for the compliments . I hav'nt figured out the weight yet, nor do I really want to LOL but even though it's added weight, it's in the rear over the wheels where I need it!!!
Yes those are 10W6's powered by a 10.0 so thats roughly 333watts into each 10 The other amp(picasso) is powering 2 6" Kove audio components I mounted in the doors.(about 125 watts each)

So far with 4 people it's been about 8 hours of labor to get to this point. 1 storage bin holds the my battery and a 140 amp circuit breaker. The other bin holds a 1 farad cap and all the distribution blocks

Sounds like a good setup. I myself have about 12 hours in install time with my installer. Lets just say the rear bins are coming out. I've had test systems in my car for a year playing with what subs & amps I want and I can say that having the weight over the rear tires does help. I've had everything out for over a month now and it wheel hops much more now ... oh yeah, I have a drag launch kit too!

Looks nice, I saw in a previous thread you would consider making them if there was enough interest. If you did make one, what would the price be?

I honestly won't be able to tell you till I finish it. The only cost I know is the $16.50 I paid for a sheet of MDF to build the box. Once I do the vinyl covering I can estimate out the cost.

Vynil is anywhere fro $12/yard to $35/yard. Just depends on quality and the ability to heat form. I doubt he will use over 4 yards for his install.

Ever though about doing a frame and then making the whole thing out of fiberglass? I would be curious if you put this thing on a scale (w/out the *shutter* JL (j/k) drivers) That thing has to weigh a ton... and most FD owners are worried about weight *shrug*
