The FC2000 bumper is done

Chuck Huang at rotaryextreme.com did it again but will this be the last time he builds for the fc ever?

alright, i know i'll get flamed, but i really hate that kit... it seems like the fc is trying to look a little too much like the fd... imo, the best for the FC is the gp sports... i can't understand why anyone wants anything other than that... just clean looking, yet agressive but not too agressive, cheap but not so much to be terrible quality, just... well perfect

I'd rather buy the real thing, knockoffs don't belong on RX-7s.

Money goes into R&D and to have someone pirate it and profit off someone else's design is just going to make people not want to design things if people are too cheap to buy the original.

Personally, I like originals (BUT that is my opinion). The originals can be had in the US for roughly $1500-$1700 (give or take).

Here, Chuck has made a replica off the original. He choose to use Hella lights, and provide his own headlight covers. He makes it for $1000 COMPLETE.

And this is still too expensive for you?????

How much do you want to pay for the kit? $0.25???

Geez.

Please remember that you are getting a bumper with the headlight kit integrated.

The only headlight kit in the US for the FC is the East Bear one which is sold for about $689. If you add a bumper on top of it, you are going to pay more than $1000 no matter what kind of bumper you get.

With my bumper, you get the DOT approved Hella 90mm lights which is a lot better than the fog lights that East Bear comes with. Besides that, my bumper comes with headlight covers but the East Bear one does not.

$1000 sounds very expensive but if you calculate from what you are getting out of the whole kit, it's a pretty good deal.

The FC is a junk car at my friend's shop. I do not own a FC and I want to test fit the bumper ASAP and it's the only car I could find at the moment.

I already have a customer waiting to get the bumper so after he puts it on, I can ask him to provide better photos. Thank you.

Please spread the words around on the bumper. This is my last try on the FC product. I already have a few products that people say they want but then when it's out, it does not sell. If this one does not sell either, I am afraid I can't afford to make any more products for the FC. I don't want to be like other companies that just leave the FC people out but without your support, I can't just keep doing it to lose money. Thank you.

The FC2000 can be fitted to the Tripoint kit, it has already been done(in the bay area). That said, it requires signifigant body work. I have Chucks GTC nose for the FC, and I am almost done fitting it to a tripoint kit. It is a great look, and a fair amount of work, but the results are nearly one of a kind(in the US anyway).
