fc vertical doors...

no, not a post asking where they can be found, and i have searched the web but couldn't come up with a truly universal solution that didn't include cutting and welding..i was wondering if any of you guys have seen these kits up close and could tell me what it looks like, or possibly give me a picture....

I have seen some that require no welding and are "bolt on kits." My friends m3 has a kit like that. The fitment was horriable he had to roll his fender and modify the shocks and crap, maybe a different fitment for the fd though. His kit cost 2k to.

verticaldoors.com has a bolt-on kit that promises no modification, but they don't have them for the fc...they would make them for 1600 each if 10 people wanted to do a group buy...the reason i was asking if anyone had seen it is because i have the ability to get the kit made for well under that price if i could get and idea or see what those kits look like up close...

i may be able to get them for a max of 700 and a min of well, i dunno...it depends on how many parts would be needed...i have an idea of what i would need in my head, but i still need a rough idea of what the other kits look like...the kit i have in my head now would be cheap with the exception of the strut...would need drilling done for it to work, and at the moment, i am guessing it would look kinda messy...

That would be kinda cool... Kinda ricey, but also kinda cool... Especially if you look at it from the viewpoint of not chipping the paint on your doors.

well...ricey, but in my location where a small car surrounded by huge trucks and vans can't always open it's doors enough for me to get out without squeezing vertical doors may serve more of a purpose than just to be unique....still trying to find someone who has seen the kit..

that is what verticaldoors.com posts on their website...any model of vehicle they don't have a kit for could still get kits if at least 10 people came to them at once with money (1599)... http://www.verticaldoors.com/v2/shop...ield=catalogid
