FC sub location pics
Anyone on here with creative postioning for their subs post up! I want to see some stealthy installs if possible, for example I was thinking about trying to hide like an 8" in each storage compartment. Theft is an issue so I'd like to hide as much as possible.

I love the work 86gxl, i also like the second pic in black in white.
Can i ask you how many cubic feet did you get crammed in there?
I need .33 - .5 Cubic feet for my Phoenix Gold Ti10d.

If you build a box that bolts onto where the bin covers used to be, and angle it towards your hatch you should get good sound with a pretty decent location. With some creative box creation you could make it go flat and make a cover to place over them that looks like a normal bin so you don't get broken into for them.

In the 90 RX7's with back seats (Sorry, don't know model name) they have a cover for the cargo space. Has anyone tried making one such thing for the non-back seats? I think I will be doing a bin install, with proper angle, but first I need an RX7. I think I'll be needing a cargo cover either way tho, I *think* that I have too much stuff to go in there, and its kinda spendy toys..

Do you really need a "proper" angle for a subwoofer?
From my understanding your ears cannot perceive the spatial orientation of subsonic sounds (20-200Hz. approx), Therefore there should be no need to stage the subwoofer, as opposed to the staging of say a 3-way component set.

You'll find that when its in the corner... its loudest
Then when its facing rear its still loud but more distorted
Then face it up and its more distorted
Then face it toward you and you can barely hear anything....
