Extra Space under CD player....

I need some ideas on what to do now with the space under my new Cd player. I used to have cassette and CD in double din and now it's only cd player. Can you guys post some pics of what you have done.

I would like to put a profec b there and a turbo timer or something like that. I don't need any more gauges.

This is for an FD by the way.

Thanks

Amel

I use the space underneath for the oem din cubby. It perfectly holds ~ 3-4 cds cases or 6-8 slim ones.
I'm trying my best to use any/all spaces w/o opening & closing the glove box too much (94 glove boxes seem to be super-delicate)

got picture? I didn't know there was an OEM din cubby or whatever is called. I saw those in 300zx and other cars. How much is that and where can i get it?

Also, did FD's ever come with like a BOSE look-a-like speaker in that place? I saw those again in 300zx's but didn't see it in FD yet.

here's a pic of mine:

it has a door that clicks in place. They sell for ~$40-60 used, or ~$65-70 new.

I've never heard of a speaker in the front, other than by the top dash vent

When closed it looks like a nice flat panel:

Oh! And a nice benefit of the bin is that it's a perfect size for holding cds with cases!

You can cut a hole in the back, and run your boost controller/turbo timer in there....

That's nice. I'll probably do something like that.

put a boost controller in their, thats what I'm going to do. if you ever get racing seats/harnes, it will be difficult to reach into your glove box from the drivers seatif you choose to put it their. theirs other places to put it to ,but thats a pretty cool spot.
