Does this sound good?

After careful review of every piece of urethane, fiberglass, ployfiber etc. out there for the rx7, I decided on this combination...

Pettiit Racing front bumper(the jdm one with out the plate)

99 spec front lip

Apex'i Sides and rear.

99 adjustable wing.

I have the 99tails, the 99 bumper lights, and someother body pieces. I just think that this will set off the lines of the rx7 and keep it simple. what do you guys think? ultimately im going for this look, just still deciding between a brilliant red or CYM....and some different rims of course...

Except for the front bumper everything sounds good.

I honestly will never buy another fiberglass body piece ever again. If the fit is wrong, it is almost impossible to ever to get it sit right. Also, hit one thing and you have a fairly large repair bill.

Not to mention the 99 spec bumper looks funky without the plate.

I have no idea how the fitment is. Any company can put out a crappy bumper. It is all about how good or bad their mold is. Molds deteriorate after use for awhile. This is where a good company will make another mold so they don't get any crappy bumpers.

Some companies that don't get a lot of business, don't have the resources to be making molds all of the time. Companies like VIS pretty much owns the aftermarket community.

So what I am saying is, its almost the luck of the draw with getting good fitment. You just have to hope the company selling it is competent enough to realize the quality of their product.

Hey, you can't copy that car!
I was going to do it first!

I think the Pettit front looks awesome and I think most people agree. That's why we are getting a group buy together on a 99spec front, minus the plate holder.

I have heard some bad things about the fitment of the Pettit bumper, but more good than bad.
I think this VIS replica will be great because it has the durability of urathane, with the price of fiberglass.

BTW, stick with the CYM, its more of a rare look. If not, we can trade when we are done (since mine in VR)

One last thing,
we also have a GB on the rear wing, but it's already set. Some guys are already trying to get another one going though.
Hope this helps.

I already beat you all to it.

Ask fd3virgin, pugg57, and ErnieT how my car looks. Ernie **** himself ....hahaha...

P.S. The Pettit front fit was phenomenal. And the paranoia of fiberglass is retarded, if you get hit in the front end the damn thing is going to be damaged regardless of what it is made of

You didnt know that your parts are WAY different than mine, and besides, your car is probably jealous of mine anyway. j/k im going to cali to go get the rest of my parts, stop by and we can sort out what i got left over.................
