Discrete Subwoofer install

I'm looking to install a subwoofer in the hatch. I don't want one of those big boxes just sliding around in the back. What would be ideal is maybe an 8" installed very discretely in the rear corner to blend in with the rest of the hatch area. The main idea being something that wouldn’t attract attention or take up too much space. Does anyone have any suggestions or any pics of a similar install?

Nice! What's the internal volume of the enclosure, and are you making those for sale?

I made and sold DIY kits in the past; none available right now. The internal volume is just shy of .7 cubic feet.

lok33, what if you want to keep your spare tire?

Damn that is nice and takes up very little usable space.

If I wanted to keep my spare tire I'd prob do a design like your box. I love mine though, sounds great, very light weight, easy to remove and very steal. Trouble is that you can't get anything long (golf clubs) in the trunk with your box. I was at one point considering doing a fiberglass box in the bin but people scared me away saying that it sounded bad.

Plus your always teasing us with yours
Like at my design? (by the way it's not aval now)
You'd never build me one..........

You could build one. If you can make a fiberglass box, this thing is a piece of cake.

Golf clubs??? Is there even room with the divider out?

...I didn't intend to tease. He asked for ideas and I showed him what I did. I still find it funny that people get upset that I refuse to take their money because I don't have time right now to make more

My clubs fit, just alittle sideways in there. I built it more just to see if I could do it. I've built all kinds of weird boxes out of MDF, wanted to try something different. I'll always use fiberglass for speaker boxes now.......

Your design is my fav, if you'd only build them $%#^$
