in-dash DVD wiring question

looking to wire my head unit so that video functions are enabled at all times instead of only while the parking break is engaged, anybody done this already or know what i need to do. any help would be great.

what kind of head unit do you have because diff units have diff. ways to bypass let me know and i should be able to let you know

Most of the time it involves grounding out the ground wire thats connected to your e-brake. Check there.

i have a dual XDVD8181. and i'm pretty sure that all i have to do is ground the wire running to my e-brake. but how exactly do i go about that?

take the parking brake wire which i think is pink on that unit and hook it up to the wire on the e-break that shows ground when the e-break is pulled up.
