Custom sub boxes?

I was wondering if anyone has done a custom setup for a 2ed gen. I was thinking about mouting in the towars... but i like the rear speakers... i also was thinking of building a fiberglass encloser by where the towars end to the spare tire slot.

I dont know, if anyone has maybe some pics and how to..... thanks.

Looks nice, I'm kind of in need of some ideas for my FC.

The amp in that FC is just begging to be stolen though, sitting in plain view and all.

I agree... this is why I put my amp right behind the passenger seat. I used an aluminium plate that I fixed with the two bolts in front of the storage bin. I bent the extremety of the plate that way _l¯ to put some space between the amp and the wall. This way, no one see the amp and there is no hole in my FC.

And I still wonder about having subwoofers in my car because I'm affraid of having them stolen!!!

I'd like to know if anyone makes those boxes for the FC, look like a nice fit. The ones with the MTX subs in them that fit behind the towers.Way better than my half *** job.

Wow that is awesome! It would be cool if it would be made in quantities. Also if it was for 1 sub in the middle of it. Thats exactly what i had in my mind.

the re one is not identical to the one posted above, its much higher and takes up the full amount of trunk space. Its about 450 w/out shipping to the us.

That kind of seems like a useless waste of space to me. Even 2 15's are not going to need a box that big, unless you are talking about some extreme SPL application. But then we are talking about a different kind of car all together.

I'm about a week from starting my 12 inch boxes that replace the bins in the FD.. I used to install as a side job (a few shops still contract me out for their "one off" jobs).. I'll see while I have the space open... if i can make a mold while i'm at it..

**** I created a few and then gave em away before I fiberglassed them .....was for the 2nd gen. I tried to garner interest on this board but nobody really was interested sans 2 people. So I let it slip by the wayside. Besides Custom sub box making for these cars is really easy......

I bought that setup from islandersrx7, very nice fit, and sound quality is pretty impressive as well. However I did relocate the amp to underneath the drivers side storage bin.
