custom paint website?

anyone know if there's a website out there that can let me mix and match different color paints to let me see what the combination looks like?

I don't know, but I'd like to do that too. I'll see if I find anything.

Your best bet is to just go to a body shop and ask to see there color book.......Most of the time on custom colors they'll have little pallets of the paint, and in my case when I chose my Chameleon paint I got a chance to bend the pallet to see all the different colors that would appear at different angles.

Hey do you know if any other chameleon colors can be made? I have only seen the purple/blue and the orange/yellow/gold. I would like to see something with gray or silver or something different.

its my understanding that it is nearly impossible to accurately re-create or represent seperate shades of the same color( I dont mean like light/dark red ) with all the pearls and kandy's available, and flip flop paints like chrome-illusion can't be done justice by "flat samples" on a computer because color shifts are affected by the environment as well as by the kind of light source, and by the viewing angle. In short, it'd be way too much work to build a site that does what you want!
it would be nice to be able to compare simple colors online though, but you can get a good idea even with cheapo colored pencils if all ytou want is an idea of what colors look like next to each other.
