couple of things I did

Some things I did. Little things but I just love doing something to the 7. Absolutely love my car.

I rewired my stereo. Got a Mcintosh headunit (am waiting on my AUDIO CONTROL unit). I'll put up pics later today in this same thread. Am wondering how to attach the sub to the rear carpet. Dont have the brackets.

I finished cleaning my engine and the exterior. Next week I'll install the McIntosh HU (provided my Audio control unit is here by then)and clean the interior and the rear compartment.

Don't hate.

IMO, the orange sidemarkers look better, but it is YOUR car, and you should do what YOU like. Anyways, your car looks great, if you could get some pics of the whole car, that'd be great.

Oh, and from the other thread, thats one clean engine bay man. Good job on that one.

Thanks. I too was debating on the fact whether I should keep the clear markers on. I got the clear ones from Thailand. They cost me $5.

Thanks: about the engine bay, I tried my best. My photography skills suck. I'll try and find a nice background and take full pictures of the car.

The McIntosh HU. It'll hopefully match my dash perfectly.

very nice choice, mcintosh hu is probally the best head unit out their, according with pioneer p9(if you can find it) and nakamichi (sp?). I dont understand why you would put all the money into a really nice headuint, but yet have a jbl sub box? Anyways car looks clean, and nice job with the dash turning it green, I really wanted to do mine blue but I have no idea how to....

To be honest, I got the HU for a very low price ($107). This HU is built for the legacy actually. Also last year I was in a budget (new engine and a couple of more things), so a decent stereo setup was basically out of reach then. This year I'm hoping to do a few things, which includes a decent stereo setup. I'm getting the Audio Control, good front and rears (MB or Focal). I'll get rid of the sub. Previously I had a very basic setup. Sony HU, Kenwood Dsp, PPI amp, JBL tube and clarion components. Hoping to find a good amp. Since in my country it is difficult to find anything decent, we have to import most of the things.

My dash came like that stock. It's a 1998.

Here is a how-to, if you want to change your dash color or gauge face.

blitz boost gauge, am looking for a water temp gauge of the same series. I think it's out of production, however if any one sells i'm up for it.
