CF Hood
This is the pic of CF Hood for FD.
We have been asked so many times to produce CF Hood for FC.
But Mr. Amemiya is reluctant.
Is there anyone who wants to get CF Hood for FC like this?
If many people want to get, we are sure to produce.
Everybody says that depends price.
RE-A CF Hood for FD is now avilable $1400 shipped.
If so many people will buy, we will offer less than $1000 !! shipped to your door (USA only)

Personally, I think that hood looks like ***. $1000.00? Are you ******* insane? I can have a custom one designed and constructed for that.
Mr. Amemiya can eat my ***!

A custom CF hood designed and constructed AND shipped across the Pacific to your door from Japan? Just shipping a hood within the states runs around $130 depending on from what zone to zone.
My CF hood cost me $700 (not including shipping), and the ones in the GB section are more then that, made here in the US. The offer price that RE Amem is more then reasonable, especially the source its coming from. RE wins hands down when it comes to well executed composite products in the rotary world. They have complete rebodies, along with a Mclaren F1-esqe car that's simply amazing. (notice I said execution - styling is debatable)
IMO, this hood looks nice, if on the aggressive side.

Is this FD hood aerodynamically tested(perhaps, wind tunnel)? Any data on underhood temps, stability at triple digit speed?
These are things that I think are important when looking at a vented hood.

Here's those pics again. Teamfc3s.org didn't like me linking their photos I guess:

Thanks you for very precious advice.
I'm not sure RE-A will produce CF Hood or not.
But I tell Koma, who is the president of GP Sports, about it.
He is glad to hear about this project.
We will be able to produce CF hood for FC.
In addition, much better quality than Odula.
I ask KOMA to produce at around $800.
Please expect me !!!!!
Thanks

Inukai,
I hope GP Sports will be able to keep the cost around $800 to $1000 US. The shipping cost have kept most people from importing other manufacturer's carbon fiber hoods from Japan.
Thank You

I have loved this hood for the FD ever since I saw it. Could you really get it to my front door for $1000? If so I would be interested at the beginning of next year (don't have the money now)

I think that the one for the FD is too aggressive. The one pictured above is very nice. I'm looking for a hood that vents outward. (Kind of like the knightsports hood). I don't like the stock hood w/ the inlet (it is too plain for me).
