I have to admit this is VERY tempting. I took apart my glass roof to see if this would work and I'm pretty positive it will. Just debating whether I want CF or keep my nice glass. There was lots of interest on this in the past....where is everyone?

I would rather keep the glass as you can't see through CF

Weigh the glass panel, and tell me if you feel the same way. You can always open it if you need to see through :-)

Sweet! I wonder if there is one with a paintable top surface, but a finished carbon underside?

He's selling one with carbon top and underside and one with CF just top. I can't imagine why he wouldn't be able to give you a FRP top and CF bottom.

i'm surprised not much people are jumping into this. If you go with the carbon fiber top and get it painted it's still looks pretty good, since some of the texture shows through when you look up close to it.

Must still be the economy, plus the FD sunroofs don't really rot out like the FC ones do.

true...but target isn't to replace sunroof due to damage...replace to reduce weight. These things come and go...was a lot of talk on this a while back but appears to have fallen on the priority list for most. People will eventually come around when they realize they may only make 10 of these ever and stop production due to lack of interest. So 10 lucky people will get their CF sunroof.
