I don't like them. They are too wide, just like the aluminum ones. It makes them looked "tacked on" and cheesy, in my opinion. Everyone that has ever had these wider-than-stock scuff/sill plates ends up taking them off because they get so hammered so quickly. And the whole idea of DRILLING into the sill area, where water collects anyway....insane!
Now, if you made them narrow like the stock ones AND had the RX-7 logo embossed in them, they would be okay. And they have to have both the locator tabs AND the built in clips.
NO DRILLING!
Your work looks very, very good. But most mature people think the whole carbon-fiber thing is overplayed. What once was pretty cool is just another ricer mod found on EVERY Honda in a high-school parking lot.

Most mature people use carbon fiber to lighten up their cars. Such an example would be the stock hood of a 2nd gen Eclipse. Stock hood weighs a ton, C/F hood weighs about half of the stock hood. So it's not on their for looks as much as it's on there for weight reduction . Now in the case of the door sills I agree, they could use some tweaking, but I think they look nice for what they are. I think they look nice enough to the point where I want a set
