How do you mean Carpc?
Will this interface with a laptop and just act as a color monitor?
What kind of software?
Seems interesting if you can integrate a PC into the Radio Din. Will it be running a windows based setup?

Bit short on details. Brand of monitor? Price? How does it mount? Does it fit properly in the double DIN opening? What brand of car PC? Where are you installing the PC? Etc.

its a monitor and it hooks up to a mini computer...
software is the touch screen software..
and yes it will fit perfectly on the double din the screen is only 1'' thick...
screen is Dynamix 8.4" 816 Widescreen Touch Screen Monitor
(16:9) Widescreen Aluminum Ultra-Bright TouchScreen Monitor with VGA and RCA Video Inputs..

here is a pic of how it will mount..

Cool. Don't forget pictures of the final install. I looked this unit up on mp3car.com and it has a pretty good reputation. (For those that don't know, mp3car.com is a really good site for car PC information.)

cool idea but not practical for some. I don't drive my car long enough to need a pc in it. I guess that's why they make laptops dohhhhh

I went with this combo for my carputer:

Takes up the double din slot and the monitor is a touch screen and retracts back into the case.
