What's your setup like? I need the size of the touchscreen monitor that is commonly used. I think it's a 7" but not sure exactly what will fit in the dash in place of the radio.

most double dins are 6.5" screen size and there are some that are 7" like the pionner z1 but ofcourse with the seven you will have less button control and more on screen controls.

I'm looking at buying a 7" but I want to make sure it'll fit ok. Does one have to make a custom bezel or do they just mount in place...yea right!! (hope so)

Most 7 inch are either too wide or too tall depending on where they place the buttons. I've looked at a couple of 7 inch touch screen VGA monitors and one was about 1/2 inch too wide. You can also relocate the buttons elsewhere.

You'll have better luck with a 6.5 inch monitor.

i can't find any pics, but i had the foldout screen carputer (single din) in my 911. the computer itself went in the trunk because of the car's configuration but in the fd you could easily mount it in-cabin.

i dont have any need for it and it runs btw, if you are interested in it, i will sell it to you complete and ready to run for a great price. PM me if you would like to discuss CarPC's further as i've done this one quite a few buddy's cars.

cheers m8.
