Anyone made/source aftermarket seat brackets?

I've got a line on some affordable aftermarket seats but no brackets.

Has anyone made their own brackets for an FD? These seats have a uniformly flat bottom with equally spaced bolts.

I've never taken out an FD seat... does it mount to the floor flat? Or are some of the legs/feet higher than the others?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

The stock seats mount to rails for adjustability (i.e. being able to slide the seat forwards and back). If you have no desire to move the seat once it's installed, you can mount it to the floorboard.

MemoryFab sells seat rails with brackets that may work. You'll have to get your seats and do measurements to know if their brackets will work. There are also AtomicRex Seat Mounts. Their are a few downside to those:

1. They are for side mount seats
2. They eliminate the stock seatbeat mechanism

Corbeau also has rails and brackets for their seats. I'm not sure if they still them separately or only with their seats.

These are bottom mount seats. I guess what I meant to ask is if the stock sliders mount to the bottom of the stock seats, flatly. If so, i could just make adapters with some straight steel.

Yes, you can fab adapters to reuse the stock seat rails.
