AtomicRex Seat Mounts

We are pleased to release our new side mount seat brackets.

They come in 2 parts:

1. Brace Bar. These are designed to fit between the standard rail mounts and give a solid platform with which to bolt the side mounts to. They are slotted to allow the side mounts to move in and out so as to fit different width seats or offset the driving position.

£30 per pair

2. Universal Side Mount. These are designed to bolt to side of your bucket seat. They have a slotted hole at the rear to allow fitment to the majority of known manufactures, and also to allow the seat to be canted depending on preferred driving position. The side mounts can be moved back and forth on the brace bar depending on leg length. These side mounts differ from other aftermarket versions as they have a wider lower flange.

£55 per pair

Both the Brace Bar and the Universal Side Mounts are made from 6mm aluminium to conform to race regulations.

All prices are excluding Postage and Packing

I assume this fits universally as passenger or driver side?

Yes you are correct. The braces fit on the lower section, and generic to both driver and passenger side. The mounts are sided, but only to left and right of the seat.

Excellent - that looks like as low as could be mounted without major fab work on the chassis?

How tall are the seat mounting brackets? I have a Momo Start 2007 which I'll be mounting. The mounting holes are about 3" and 3.5". I can create custom brackets, but if yours will work it will save me a little effort.

They have been designed to fit with pretty much any seats as they can be adjusted front to back, and side to side as well as up and down.

Where are you measuring the 3" or 3.5"?

Can get a set over to you within a couple of days, as the guys with the racks will confirm

From the bottom of the seat up to the mounting hole. Front side mounting hole is 3" and the rear is 3.5".

Can you provide some dimensions of the side mounts?

I am particularly interested in the height, as there is limited clearance above the front side-mount hole on my Corbeau FX1 seats.

As promised a side on view of the seat mount with the sizes on.

Any further questions by all means drop me a mail or ask on here

If anyone wants to put on a group buy I would be happy to sort that for 10....I could send them all to the one place and you then there would only need to pay oversees postage once. Just a thought.

A mounting point designed for the seat belt receptacle/socket would be a real plus for all those racers who don't like driving around town w/ a harness on.

The concern is the type of seat you run with the belt. If the seat has quite high sides, you wouldn't get the grip, and possibly end up submarining.

I have a number of sets in stock. We are actually having 4 sets sent off to be anodised black, otherwise they are aluminium finished

^^^

That's a very fair price, if you factor in buying generic sidemounts and/or sliders, and then paying at least an hour of fab time to weld and cut it all together... and, the car doesn't have to leave your garage.

That's a nice piece of kit. My friend and I had to make our own mounts and while they work just fine, they are obviously nowhere near as clean as these.
