LOL...trying to blow up my spot, eh? Two things:

1) My hood wasn't open for a reason: I think it's the weak point of the car, but understandably so. I was out to build a very fast yet beautiful FD (IMO), and it just so happened that a minor fender bender brought the exterior mods first Hopefully very soon, my car will be going in to GothamRacing, and THEN I'll be proud to tote the car w/ the hood up lol.

As for now, here's my modest mod list: 1994 R2, (you know the exterior: body kit, CF vented hood, CF rear spoiler, custom front undertray and RE rear diffuser), 245/35/18s front, 285/30/18s rear, on SSR GT3s, brembo cryo-treated & x-drilled/slotted rotors, stock R2 suspension, PFS SMIC, fabbed hardpipe + greddy elbow, M2 CF intake & hardpipes, Pettit DP & MP, HKS CF Ti Exhaust, ACT HD S/S Clutch, PFS lightened flywheel, B&M Shortshifter (for mAdD fAsT sHiFtS yO! lol), Greddy Pulley Set, HKS Twin Power Ignition, Efini Y-pipe, and a PFC tuned to 13 psi on stock twins, stock engine, stock injectors & fuel pump...umm I think that's about it. Like I said, not heavily modded.

2) So yea, it's nothing wild FOR NOW. But I just don't see the point of putting more money into the current setup when it's gonna completely change anyways... (my engine's got low compression, so it's on it's way out, and my primary turbo seal is going bad real quick lol). So for now I'm just waiting to finalize things w/ Gotham. So how about you give me a few weeks/months (lol) and ask me that question again?

That mod list is fine. Mine's about the same as yours, and I would say it's mildly modded. I don't see a need for me as it's my daily driver. After dropping $3k for a rebuild & almost another $3k for new turbos (pretty close together time-wise), the last thing I want to do is push the envelope more.
Our engines shouldn't be changed more often than the tranny/diff oils

As for the taillight cover, you see them for sale every few months for ~$100-$200 used. Not a bad price if that's your thing....

LOL Sorry, it was a legit question. The weather was so crappy that day that alot of people didn't have their hoods open, myself included. I was just curious, and I didn't mean to put you on the spot

Your mod list sounds pretty comparable to mine too, just different brands.

Oh man...that's gotta go up there on the "You know you drive an RX7 if..." thread haha

Yea? Hmm... I'll have to keep an eye out for it. I would want the CF one tho, which is only made by RE (there are no copies). It sells for $900 new so I'm afraid it might run a bit more than the $200

I didn't say it wasn't legit lol. But yea, I didn't have my hood up cuz I'm ashamed of the engine bay. Only a couple of the parts (hard pipes & Tb) are polished. So I wasn't about to show off a grungy bay IMO. Plus, I hate the "oh" ppl say when they see the stock twins LOL.
