any Catz HIDs left?

Since they're illegal to sell in the US now, I was wondering if anyone has links or hookups to get CATz hids. I think the bulbs for the FC are H4's. I heard that if you get CATz, the focus point is just right so you don't need to retrofit the reflectors. The cutoff for the light will be perfect. So I believe CATz is the way to go. Any links or any company with any sets left?

They are not illegal to sell in US. Check the general automotive forum for posts up to 2-4 weeks ago and youll see. I am too lazy to search for you.

Come on, everyone. You gotta do research outside the forum, too!

hids are now illegal however you'll still be able to get them just not in a full kit. they will be selling them part by part, so dont sweat it you can still get them.

hids just became illegal to sell in the aftermarket industry. trust me i know im a retailer. we just got told that we can no longer sell them (as kits). as for the cars that are equipped w/ them that is a whole other story that im don't know about. we'll see how long this so called law for us retailers lasts!

Aftermarket HID are supposed to be illegal.

WHY?

Because none of them have that auto-leveling feature that gets people from becoming blind.

THe factory ones have it.

I have HID and have angled my headlights up in low beam and it makes stock high beam look like a joke.

I like to know if the PIAA 930 driving/fog lamp are legal.

seems that they are OK.

That is my next lighting upgrade and I will have 4 true HID on the car.....

hyper, so let me get this straight, so you can't buy a kit w/ parts A B and C, but you can buy A, B and C seperately with instructions how to puit it together... government at its best...

pretty much. just buy it piece by piece. can get a little costly though depending on which "kit" you are looking for. its weird that we still have new cars w/ HIDs yet you cant buy a kit?
