how to take the lens off a gauge?

hey every1,

i took off my a/f gauge 2night cuz i wanna mess with it. But i cant get the plastic lens and chrome ring off. I want to put a different face on it for ***** and giggles.

nebody got some ideas? it turns freely but isnt threaded

nvm...got it off with the hammer, screwdriver and vise.

now, anybody got ideas on where i can get that white lettering put on so it looks nice?

Use Illustrator, Resolution independant and precise controll over real world scale... plus plenty of rulers to align and space things out correctly...
