99spec with and without plate holder
I'm gonna be getting a 99spec bumper and was debating whether or not I wanted the plate holder, so I did a photoshop to help out the decision. I figured since I had them side by side with the same fd (donny's former car) it was a good way to compare. I thought others might like to make the same comparison since I already had the chop done so here it is...

I prefer it with the license plate holder. It looks more original because that's the way they came, and I like having a set area for the license plate so that police won't bug me about not having a front license plate.

i think the FD looks like its smiling without the plate holder. thats not a good thing. however, there was an SCC project FD with the real '99 spec bumper modified to remove the plate holder, and the shop made the part above the opening straight instead of a bit curved, and it looks great.

The new vette looks like its smiling too, but boys its packing some serious power. All that smiling goes away when you hear it, and realize it smokes anything on the street. Then it looks bold.
The plateless 99spec looks like its smiling for about 15 seconds, then it just looks updated and bold.

I think if your province/state requires a front plate you are all for it! but if your province/state doesnt have a front plate required you hate it.. I personally dont like it in the front , thats because im not used to seeing front plates. I have the replica with out the plate.
