First of all, if you want to use the BOSE bass rear speakers with an aftermarked head unit you gonna need the schosche adaptor, I don't think you can make it work without it, and if you do the sound will be like crap.
You can install new speakers in the back and run new wires, but I think easyer is to get the schosche adaptor, crutchfield has it. There is a sticky here on how to do it.

I hope this can help you.

I know what you mean, the connecor should be there, but who disconected it, was it you?
If not than who ever did it might of cut it out.
Do you have the schosche adaptor?
How you gonna connect the rear speak. from the head unit?

no dont have it yet. but i want to make sure everything is connected before i wire it up... no i dont remember ever removing it.. =\ now its a pain cuz i just cant find it at all
What I'm thinking the previous owner that disconected that wire maybe he cut off the connector so that's why you can't seem to find it, keep looking!
I know how frustrating it gets, I remember when I chenged the head unit the AMP wire would not power the amps b/c schosche adap. has a little dificult connection, you got to swich 2 wires around.
Good Luck!
