I just finished installing my new system in my 90 vert today. I sounds Incredible!! It is:

Alpine head unit
2- 6 1/2 Infiniti Kappas in the doors
2- Infinity Kappa 5x7s in the rear deck
Alpine V-power Class D amp
2 Alpine Type R 10s in the trunk.

All wiring is tsunami

I removed all of the factory stuff like amps and all and took out most of the factory wiring. I ran all new heavier guage wires for the speakers and $70 rca's for the amp. The subs hit hard enough that they blow the trunk open on really loud bass songs!!

Cool! I have a 90 Vert as well. I bought it with an older Pioneer Premier HU with some 6 1/2 MB Quart "subs" behind the seats. It sounds decent. Since I bought the FD, I haven't done anything more to the Vert...

 

Nice FD but you need to do somethin to that vert =) Nothin beats bein able to kill rice with the top down

 

I'm thinking of getting a new system as well but going with the front speakers and no rears, but a sub in the back.
