Wiring S5 TPS to haltech

Hey guys.. Ive searched last night for about an hour about how to hook up a S5 TPS to the haltech. All I kept getting was threads with Claudio saying there was a diagram around somewhere but I never found it. Can anyone chime in and help me out? Thanks guys

Oh and also.. on the wiring diagram, it says shows which wire is which for a 3 wire 02 sensor. Then it says to look in the manual on how to hook up 2 wire and 1 wire 02 sensors. Well I looked and it didnt show it. Which of the three wires (black, red, grey with red stripe) do I hook up to my single wire 02?

Taken from this link http://www.bdcmotorsports.com/Haltec...tes_072003.txt

TPS side of plug / Mazda wiring harness side of plug / Haltech E6K 3-lead TPS wiring harness
BLUE BROWN/BLACK/BLUE BLACK (TPS Ground)
PINK BROWN/WHITE ORANGE (5VDC +ve)
YELLOW BLUE/GREEN/RED WHITE (Signal)
ORANGE BROWN/WHITE/BLACK Unused
GREEN/RED GREEN/RED/RED Unused
BLACK/ORAGE BROWN/BLUE/BLUE Unused

For O2 sensor it's the one that is shielded, connect it's core wire to the o2 sensor signal.

You want a diagram, here's one. Make sure you use the FULL RANGE TPS, the other is just a switch that will shoot to 100% about 1/3 the way up.

As for the O2 sensor, just connect it to the O2 sensor input wire on the harness, come one people you have to read the documentation

Hey Claudio, that's a cool diagram. Mind if I "borrow" it and put it on my website as a quick reference?

Hey.. Im a complete newb to this remember? just 3 weeks ago I didnt know how to put the wire in the crimp connector for the air and water temp sensors.. now I installed my haltech completly by myself (hopefully its all correctly). I was pretty sure thats the wire I used.. It was kind of common sense. I just wanted to be 100% sure. Thanks though for the responses guys. Now I just gotta see about hooking my AEM wideband to the haltech for datalogging.

No problem.... its simple, just take your AEM wideband's 0-5V output and feed it to either the O2 sensor input or the Spare A/D and configure it accordingly. NOTE: if you're using the internal MAP sensor, that takes up the Spare A/D, so use the O2 sensor input.

If I put it on the O2 sensor input, does that eliminate the stock single wire 02 sensor needing to be there? Thanks again

Why on earth do you even want to try and use a single wire sensor when you have a wideband, and no actual need for a single wire?

I figured there was some purpose for it.. lol. I was going to have a new 02 bung welded on my DP to have the stock single wire 02 and my wideband.. Guess ill go ahead and toss the stock 02 . Thats good because as of right now Im having trouble jacking up my car. Its about 2.75" off the ground.. and my lowprofile jack only goes as low as 3.75" off the ground. so its a bit of a problem. :/

Thanks Claudio. Youve been very helpful.
