wiring harness question 13bt vert

when installing my e6k, can i totally remove the old engine harness? if not, what do i do with it? im not running an idiot cluster, i have it totally removed, no ac, just power steering. and what about the ecu itself? i dont mind leaving the ecu in, but id like to clean everything up and remove the whole engine harness. thanks in advance

You can completely remove the harness and ECU.

But there's parts you'll want to seperate from it like the wiper harness.

wiper wiring as mentioned.

If you're using cruise control then keep those wires also (if its not a vaccum controlled N/A unit) and you can also retain the stock coolant gauge by keeping that wiring also. All of these three items are ran to their own seperate plug in an S4 TII. They are loomed in with the engine harness, you just need to trim the loom and pull them out. I imagine a vert would be similar but I don't know.

You can keep however much or however little you want, its all dependant on what you intend to use afterwards.
