Wiring Antilag to Clutch switch

Here is a crude drawing of how I think this will work. My objective is to wire my antilag to my clutch switch and the have a toggle switch arm/disarm it.
I have two wires coming from the clutch switch. One is a Switched 12V and the other becomes 12V when the clutch is depressed.
Will this work?

With the new Haltech, you don't have to wire it to the clutch switch as long as you wire up a Vehicle Speed wire to the cruise control.
The antilag will shut off at around 10-15 MPH automatically.
Here is a test I did where it boosted to 10 PSI with no flames?

how do you wire up a Vehicle Speed wire to the cruise control? Im soon going to setup my antilag and have some doubts. Just as a side question, can I use 12V for digital imputs? I thought I could only use 5v or ground.

So your vehicle has cruise control and you want to tap the vehicle speed wire? Could you provide some more detail on your setup?

I apologize for a baseless question. The real question is where do I get road speed reading and how do I wire it to the haltech. I do not have cruise control. I do have all the speed sensors in my car working. Do I connect them through a timed imput? Thanks

The Rx-8 stability control module (or abs module) calculates vehicle speed from four individual wheel speed sensors and sends a CAN signal to the instrument cluster and to the ECU. I suppose you could try tapping into a wheel speed sensor. It generates an A/C voltage though (like a crank trigger) and I'm not sure the Haltech can interpret that for purposes of vehicle speed. See the 2004 Rx-8 service highlights page 241,245, and 526:

I don't see an option for it, but maybe I'm not understanding the software as I don't have firsthand experience ever setting up a speed sensor of this type.

You need a square wave input on one of the DPI channels for wheel speed. The FC and FD have square wave signals you can tap into in the dash cluster. Not sure on the 8. You may be able to split the signal with a wheel speed sensor and use a Haltech RA10 to convert the sine wave signal to square wave.

Can I just wire it to a clutch switch with a E11v2 instead? Like the OP said? . Id probably interrupt the clutch switch with a push button in the steering wheel. So my question is will it work if I dont have a speed signal?
