Wierd value when zero timing (PS1000 and FFE)
S4 Fc3s, aem coils, PS1000 and ffe triggerkit with reluctor sensor.
Locked timing to -5 and split to 15
Hooked my strobe light up and mooved the trigger angle around untill it was spot on (both leading and trailing).
Trigger angle ended up on 84 degrees......WTF should it not be like 90degrees spot on? 1 degree +- i was expecting but not 6!
Did i do it wrong or is it ok?
It doesnt move when reving it to 3k either

It's an FC engine. The CAS could be stabbed any one of a million ways. So the end value could be anything. The important thing is that you gave the timing synched, not the value that gets you there. If it makes you feel better, set the trigger angle at 90* and turn the CAS until it lines up.

your fine. Mine is like that also. something with the front hub and pulley are different between turbo and n/a. Been running mine for awhile now with no issues.

oh my bad, i mean that i change trigger angle in the haltech software!
the hardware is probably fine i guess....looks and feels solid!, i was just concerned that so many ppl seems to type 90 degrees as trigger angle in the softwae and i have to type 84.
But hey as long as its zeroed....and it seems to be :-)
