tuning questions
The online haltech manual is not working 100%. I wanted to know how can I change my fuel in PERCENTAGES. Instead of just upping the bar 5 times I want to be able to add say 15% more.
I read in the manual you can do this, but the hotkeys dont show up.
Also the car breaks up when you hold a rpm at idle...say 3k. we got the AF ratio right and it isnt lean. It revs great but when holding the idle I think there is a fuel cutoff happening. The only thing I can think of is my TPS reads fault sometimes when you dont have your foot on the gas. but it registers when you are holding a rpm...so I doubt it is directly related.

This is the E6K ecu. I am using a s5 tps on a s4 throttle body. The tps was calibrated properly and the tps sits even and flush with the "cam" on the throttle shaft.
it reads a value of 6 at first untill I recalibrate it. When I floor it I get a reading of about 82.
at idle it occasionaly goes between 0% throttle input to fault. but never ever reads fault when getting on the gas. It just seems sensitive at the idle area.
The hot key for adding injector % would be a huge help

Just enter the % increase you want. For less fuel you'll enter a minus in front of the % amount for example 5% less fuel would be Alt-'P" and enter -5. Remember the % increase/decrease is based on the actual injection time so if you were to add 5% and wanted to remove the 5% of fuel added it would minus the fuel from the new injection time. For example lets say injection time was 50 ms and you added 10% to that then the new injection time would be 55ms but if you were to remove 10% from 55ms then the new injection time would be 49.5ms.
I hope that helps.

thanks for that info.
Are there any other pointers out there for tuning? My friend has been doing this for 4 years never blown up a motor. But this is his first rotary.
I have the hitman stock map on a S4 with E6K. Wastegate is ported. Full catback exhaust.
WE can take care of the fuel. I was wondering do I need to mess with the stock timing maps as far as spliting etc etc. I will be running 12lbs on the stock S4 turbo. I think the stock timing in hitmans map will be sufficient. Am I horribly wrong?

Why not use the entire S5 TB in the first place?

it was a TB from a S5 N/A. The throttle cable pulleys where upside down and the oil metering pump wouldnt match up.
Main reason I have ported, knife edged, and TB mod'ed the S4 TB so it was easier to fab up a bracket.
Also people said you couldnt do it, so I wanted to do it.
