Terminated harness all that good?

Well I just recieved a couple quotes back from RPM performance center. One for 2200 ausd and one for 1570 ausd
the first one comes with a terminated harness, 3 bar map and all the other sensors. The second one comes with a un terminated harness and a 3 bar map.

Which one would you get??

If you can cut wires to length and crimp and solder well, get the flying lead harness.

I think the point of asking about the terminated harness is that its a full package with all new sensors for the Haltech... TPS, air temp etc for a few hundred more.

Anyone know if the terminated harness uses 2nd gen coil pack and the CAS plugs? If so terminated seems the way to go, easier = better for me

like mike said, is the extra $ worth it for the sensors? I have all kinds of weatherpac connectors at work so thats no problem.

the sensors etc come with either wiring harness, if you buy from someone like HITman, just say you want the coolant temp sensor that is the same thread as the factory mazda one and he'll include on that will thread right in, in place of the factory coolant sensor.

get the flying lead harness and plug kit, the terminated harness doesn't have the correct plugs to plug straight into a 13BT CAS anyway.

the terminated harness just gives you the plugs already connected to the wiring loom, you still need to add the other 'side' of the plug to the CAS etc etc

Mike,
The cosmo motor has unusual injector plugs, so you will have to cut the wiring back and fit the Mazda plugs to the loom.
The kit comes with all other connectors etc to do the fitup.
I will supply diags for the wire up of the 2ndgen coils and CAS.
Regards, Tim.
I think I got my answer the terminated harness doesnt sound like a good deal now. Since the injector plugs are different, and the CAS and 2nd gen coil has to be hard wired anyways...Of course Id like to have all new sensors and the Haltech all in one swoop
