Sprint RE

That is what I will like to know, how to get it done. I am planning to re-do the whole FI in the car and planning to go with the Pro-Jay MTBA with 8 injectors, mostly because I got one very cheap. The car has already a Sprint RE installed and I would prefer not having to remove/replace the whole thing, if I can afford it. In order to run 8 injectors, what impedance will they need to be? The SRE handles only high impedance only, will I have to keep these or get the low impedance and run them in series? Sorry if it sounds stupid, I have no idea as of how this will work out..

Block off 4/8 and run just 4.

I know I have that option, using the dummy injectors, but what if I really wanted to use all 8? That is what I will like to know, if there is a way for the ECU to handle all 8, and if so, what will need to be done?

You need an injector driver. Even a pair of high impedance injectors on one channel will be too high of a load for the SRE.

Thanks Ludwig, that means then that I will have to buy another piece of electronic equipment and more wiring to this POS I'm trying to keep alive. Well, if I do decide to run the 8 injectors, then maybe I should take the SRE and get a Fueltech,FT350 those can handle up to 12 injectors, or so they claim, and cost similar to the entry level of a Haltech..... lets see what happens in the near future.....

depends on injectors and channels you want.

you want 4 channels so techincally you could run 16 injectors bosch with this
