Heya, without thread jacking too much I just wanted a few things cleared up after looking at FJDRX7s. I am changing from Microtech with X4 to a P.Sport 1000.
- I measured a spare primary injector at about 15 Ohms, so I set the injectors to high imp ( I think it is 8+ Ohms or similar).
- I have set my MAP to internal where the above is set to external. I do have a vacume hose going to the ECU.
- My spark is wasted I think. The map is the 550/1600 posted by Claudio RX-7 in the downloads section. I am not getting any spark, but the wires go straight from the haltech to the coils.
Any ideas.

If you are saying the ignition is going straight to the stock coils from the Haltech that is wrong. You need the igniter or another coil with an internal igniter for the ignition to fire.

Thought as much, will have to find what happened to the wires to the stock igniter before the X4 was installed.

His settings are correct for his application. What works for one doesn't necessarily belong on something else.

issues with the FD timing mark? it is 20 ATDC and is set up with the timing light on T1 ?
( when split is 15, naturally L1 will be at 5 ATDC )

if you assumed the mark was for the leading,, then you are 15 retarded over the normal 5 ATDC
as is i find some ported engines like 5-10 BTDC base timing to start and idle well

also if you lower the cranking rpm threshold you will find the ecu drops into 2 injector mode and 4 coil mode instead of flooding the engine with all injectors and only leading spark

too high a threshold maybe the reason the car repeatedly floods on crank
( and 15 late timing will not help ! )
