pre-mix ?
okay. so i will probably be getting a ek6 from the group buy above. and my question was do i have to run pre-mix?
i heard it cannot control electric omp's like 89+ and 93+? i have a 87 T2 and plan on using an 87-88 jspec. since its mechanical i assume i will be fine?
also, i might be running a fd upper intake manifold later on and was told you have to do something custom with the mechanical omp arm cause it will be in the way? anyone do this?

ok, thanks. so uh, i guess i just need to see how difficult it will be to make the mechanical omp work with the fd uim now. im glad that will be later on.
how much extra does pre-mix cost? is it going to be over like $50 a month? if so i don't need it lol

The UIM on the FD has nothing to do with the MOP. The MOP is on the motor and not on the manifold on the REW (FD) motors. As long as you are using the electronic MOP control (ie not the 86-88 front housing) you will need to use a premix. The MOP does not work without a signal and the E6K will not control the MOP.
The UIM on the FD does not fit on the FC LIM, you will need to make something to make it fit (yes, I tried).
