I can make those for ya'll. Shoot me an email at bdc@bdcmotorsports.com. Hopefully I'll get my Internet bill paid tomorrow and have my email back up since they shut it off this weekend. Or, get ahold of me on AIM, MSN, or Yahoo IM.

Try this. Set your base fuel pressure to 40psi w/ the engine off but pump on. Once it's warmed up, you'll also need to zero your timing out by locking it to -5 and adjusting either the Trigger Angle or rotating the CAS w/ a timing light on the main crank pulley lining up the yellow 5*ATDC mark to the front cover timing mark.

Need to know the fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. Taking a guess at it and will upload something to try.

Even though I don't know the base fuel pressure and the fuel pump, give this one a try. See what happens.

Hey! Cool deal B.! Thanks for chipping in.

If you have any average setup maps that are commonly requested handy i can post them up on the base map thread, or you can go ahead and that if you want.

Ey crazy Rican, email me what you've got bdc@bdcmotorsports.com . I don't have any E6S base maps so I'll have to construct something entirely by hand. I'll do it though.

Fuel pump? Fuel pressure regulator? Static fuel pressure (not idle fuel pressure)?

Static fuel pressure is the pressure in the system with the pump on and the engine off (no vacuum pulling on the regulator to drop pressure and no primary injectors running).

I'm uploading two maps here -- Both E8, both for FC3S (not FD3S; different trigger and ignition setup), one for 550/550 combo and one for 800/1680 combo, assuming I have the numbers right. I did alot of work on both water temp and air temp corrections but I could be off on them. I also did some work on the throttle pumps but I may have them kicked up too stout. Nonetheless, it's got my lead and trail-split ignition maps and should hopefully be a good start.

Anyone else who's looking for a potential starter map can use these.

Hey B. Lets put the maps you've got together with the other base map thread? what do you think? with a nice description of what its for.

That way they are all on one place. That way you should go to the base map thread first before you as for a specific map, that way you might find something useful right away.

e6k settings for ls1 coils

I've been searching around for a couple of days now and can't seem to find much on firing LS1 coils with the E6K. This car used to run on the map thats in the computer now so I really just need the settings I should use for the LS1 coils.

Its a 13BT and I'm running leading coils only.

I grabbed some E6X maps and the E6X program and was surprised at how different the ignition setup options were.

The settings in the end are basically the same, ignition mode, charge time, edge, etc., so its pretty much the same deal.

Set the thing to direct fire, constant charge time, falling edge, 4-5mS of charge time, and thats it. Wire up the leading coils to the Ign.Out wire, T1 to Dig1 and T2 to Dig2.

Thats about it.

Thanks for the tip! I have it all wired up and hopefully we can (finally) get the engine to fire tomorrow night!
