Do you get an rpm reading in the software when cranking it during the no start?

I haven't played around hooking up to computer. all I know is when I crank I have no response on the rpm gauge and no spark at the plug. I tried swapping coils. no change. this issue was there from day 1 since I got it from the shop.

I read were some people said if the ecu overheats it does the same thing. I am thinking of cutting the top and installing a fan.

the ECU overheating was a software glitch, the new firmware fixed it for most people.

Na, all software updates do nothing to existing tunes.

Need to log on with the lappy - be online + be connected to the ECU - get the new patches and then do the update.

Can take a good 10 mins but the current patch fixed allot of my issues.
