So let's bring him back.
For anyone who is unwilling to shell out 1000+ for a newer haltech/other standalone that does pretty much the same stuff his 7 year old software was going to do... this would be worth it.
I am tuning with e6k right now, and it's such a hassle using the DOS software. Apparently the hardware is able to do much more, but the original software is very much lacking.

So... yeah, I gave it a shot, and it sucks if we'll never hear about this again, but oh well. Trying won't hurt no one.

i actually prefer the simple dos interface when you are tuning while driving lol. The current ECU Manager is a pain to use while occupied, and requires a mouse

Ditto, I want stuff that looks big enough to see while driving, but I also want the "post-tune" review capability of 3-d maps, etc.

My biggest problem with e6k's oftware is the inability to trace and tune, and that some of the sensor displays cannot be made bigger, as I mostly focus on 3-4 outputs when drive-tuning, and the display in haltech doesn't allow to enlarge them, the fotn size stays the same regardless of how many parameters are displayed.

It's amazing how all the features in the current E8/Ultimate Haltech software are literally copies of what Pengarufoo did 7 years ago... Quite a brilliant guy, it's almost like they got a lot of ideas from his software and implemented them in the new Haltech programs...

Yeah, bump this up. I wonder how all of this software is going. Can you at least tune it a little easier?
