Try this.

In addition, the rev limiter is set to 5500 and you will need air temp correction enabled and properly programmed. Why are you using multipoint injection mode?

care to enlighten me as to what you changed in the map that made it work? just trying to learn how to tune properly as far as the settings go. That way later i can data log and make corrections where needed till i get to a dyno.

You still have an issue. Trigger at last home needs to be 12 all the time. No less, no more.

You had the trigger and home ground check boxes checked. The way its wired, they need to be turned off.

If those values are just from cranking the engine and not actually running it, I'd try to start it and see what you get with it running. They crank so slow that trigger errors aren't uncommon. Once its running though, you need a consistent trigger at last home of 12. Timing has nothing to do with trigger errors. It all, pretty much, comes down to how good of a job you did with the wiring. You can play with the voltage thresholds, but the default values have always worked great for me. So I would think, if you have issues with the default values, you have a wiring issue somewhere.

Sounds good. You'll usually get 2 or 3 miss counts when you first crank the engine. You should not get anymore after it fires. Trigger before last home needs to stay a 12 at all times. Trigger and home count arent' real important for what you're looking a here.

In short, the trigger signal looks correct.

That's good. On my next day off I continue troubleshooting. It acts like it wants to start but won't. So I wondering if my timing is off. If not ill just go down the list of common problems.

Well got the car running thanks to a friend driving 45 min to help out. Idles horrible and won't rev it just stalls. I'm going to check compression today. It ran fine before haltech but that was 6 months ago so just in case something got into the motor I'm doing a compression check. If that's not it then ill have to wait till he comes back over so he can mess with the map some more. If someone doesn't mind looking over my map just i case we missed something. Ill try to send it my laptop is starting to take a crap. I appreciate all the help itch this.

you have been having similar problems to what ive been having

I have ps1k with the terminated harness and when i installed it i never had a crank signal and checked and found i was not getting a 12v switched power to the red wire...Im running the FFE hall effect trigger....anyways I found another 12v switched source and ran it to the trigger...it worked car started up and ran...then i proceeded to tune the car....all seemed to be fine...

then the other day I went out to tune for more boost as I was only running 5lbs on the fresh motor....as soon as i got in and turned the key the IQ3 dash display read out for all my sensors said 0.0AFR 0.0ATS 0.0CTS hm.... so then i looked at the ecu led and noticed they only would pop on for a second when i first turn the key on and then would cut back off, same with the fuel pump....which i had set to run for 5 seconds on startup.

its like after the first second or so the 12v source for the ecu is lost or something.

Well after we did some troubleshooting we found that an injector was dead causing it to run poor. So we switched a primary and a secondary to see if it was for sure the proble an it killed another injector. So we started testing the wires and my manifold was crushing my injector harness and shorted out. So I ordered a set of 1680cc injectors to use as secondaries. Also went ahead and ordered a wideband. So hopefully by Monday or Tuesday it will be running properly.

Anyone have a map I could use with the following mods:
Apexi gt spec turbo back exhaust
Port wastegate
Fmic
Walbro
550cc primary
1680cc secondaries
Removed emissions
Stock turbo
Car is s4 tii
Not sure what boost I'll run probably 10psi if possible just want to get it running a bit smoother for now till I can get it tuned I posted in the map request thread but not sure how many views it gets.
Thanks

if asking for a map, you may end up running worse. no two custom maps are alike, and sometimes are way off.
