there are slides in the body that... mounting holes slide into. its pretty ******* lame, but it seems the only logical way to make mounting unlimited.

There are mounting lugs available that slide into the grooves on the bottom of the case. I don't know that we have ever sold a set of them though. What we generally end up doing is using a good velcro to hold the ECU in place where ever we decide to mount it. Works well on most surfaces. If the place we want to mount the ECU doesn't have any flat surfaces we'll cut a plate out of 1/8" aluminum to bolt down and velcro the ECU to that. Some of the industrial velcro is amazingly strong.

Motec has been using a similar case for years. I agree that Haltech should of retained the mounting ears on the case, but it was one more thing they copied from Motec and I'm sure the extrusion is less expensive for them to produce without the ears.

Injected Performance has this very very nice mounting plate that fits all Platinum Sport and PRO Boxes.

To bad these should be included with the EMS or available through Haltech... I know my E6K and E8 had no mounting issues. Will probable go the velcro route
