Logging problem!!! Help!!

My e6k is only logging about once every 1.5 seconds...I thought they are supposed to log ten times a second. What could be causing this? Thanks in advance.

I think it has to do with which operating system (or computer system) you're running the haltech software on. I had an issue when running it on a 800mhz pentium laptop with windows 2000, it'd only log every second or so.. But now I have a 486 laptop, with win 95, and now sampling at ~10 times a sec

I had a problem with mine only logging for about 9 seconds before it would stop logging. Is there a setting to make it longer or is it just the computer im using as in his case?

For some reason, the datalog function is really susceptible to really loud exhausts and brutal acceleration...

Yep, that'll do it.
I have had problems with the datalogging prematurely ending in two scenarios.

1) When on a dyno, the computer is sitting right next to the car running up to 7kRPM.

2) On two customer cars - both of which run open-vented wastegates.

It seems the loud noise can easily trigger the datalog to end.

Ok I tried logging without going full throttle to keep the wastegates from opening to no avail, still only logs about once every 1.3 seconds. Tonight I am going to try unbolting the ecu and wrapping it in a blanket or something. Do you have any other suggestions? If this dosen't work Im going to try to find an old laptop. Thanks for the help guy's.
