Haltech ignition wire (grey wire to haltech E6K) which wire do you use?

ignition wire (grey wire to haltech E6K) which wire do you use?

i figure im going to use the IG1 black with yellow strip right from the ignition and run it over to the passenger side for my haltech ignition (grey) wire. is this what you guys use?

12 volts on run and 12 volts on start

Thats what wire I used for my haltech.

Yeah, the rule is you need a 12V switched wire that also has power when cranking, so the ideal one is the same wire that would've provided the same thing to the stock ECU.
