haltech E6S questions(possibly buying one)

So, i've found a E6S ECU for a reasonable price(i think). I have been offered the ECU with no harness for 250$. i have done a little research and noticed the talk of a chopper wheel. Can anyone elaborate on this? i have never heard of such. im gonna try to talk to brian at rotorsports tomorow about it but i'd like some user comments. The set up will be going on a streetported Turbo II with 62-1. i gave ordered the RTEK 2.0 and was somewhat shunned away from the setup. i'd like a little input and possibly some comparison comments on the 2. any info is welcome and needed! thanks in advance guys.

Don't bother with it.
IIRC, you need MSD 8509's to trigger the box correctly.

Stand-alone EMS installs should never be a budget proposition.
You're going to run into headaches.
You're going to pay more money to get it done.

Are you going to tune it?
Can you tune properly?
If not, it's not worth getting it...

RETed is right, if you dont have enough experience with the EMS you shouldnt try to do it your self, also, if you buy just the ECU you need the harness, sensors, fuse block, relays, and such, and haltech i believe isnt stocking them anymore, the E6K uses the same harness, but again, no stock is left.

Just buy your self a new E6X kit, i have a great deal on them and give full warranty and support for all the units i sell.

Email me if your interested.
