got my E11! first impressions

hey guys i got my E11 about a week ago and wanted to give my first impressions of the unit....

1. the harness is different than the E6K..theres 2 plugs now RED (26 wires) and BLACK (36 wires) they are AMP harnesses now
2. still 2 relays like the E6K
3. the fuse block uses all 4 positions
4. serial interface like the E6K
5. some wires seem to be a thinner gauge than the e6k..theres 16 and 18 gauge wires now
6. the power, ground, fuel pump, switched wires seem to be 16 gauge now
7. the shielded wires seemt o be covered with a white sheathing now..
8. the software is called HALWIN v1.05
9. the E11 is physically longer than the E6K
10. its WIN 95/98/2K/XP compatible
11.. theres a help section
12. there seems to be alot more options and settings to be configured
13. theres a E6K fuel/igniton map conversion tool also

i will be installing it soon when i get time

i got mine from www.a-spectuning.com the unit is consideribly higher than the E6K

How do you mean "higher than the E6K"? As in quality or price?

RPM Performance is selling them for $2800 AU ($1562 US). That comes w/ the E11, flying loom, airt temp, coolant temp, TPS, 3bar MAP, software, booklet, and Shipping to the US.

Maybe you can post some screeshots of the software, I'd like to see how it's layed out. Probably going to be buing it pretty soon.

why did you buy the E11 over the e6k? are there options the e11 has that the e6k doesnt that you needed?

what are some of the added options the e11 has that the e6k doesnt, i already know about the 3rotor split timing stuff and electric omp, just looking for what else

just curious

$1600 gets you the E11 with flying lead harness shipped anywhere in the continental USA. Add $75 for the connector/termination kit.
