E8 + bosch coils

Okay so I've had these 4 bosch coils laying around, I'd like to get them to work with my E8. obviously I cant just wire them directly like stock coils. I figure i need the haltech ignition module, but which one? the 3 channel one? is there any cheaper or easier way?

you could probably use the stock ignitors for the trail. For the lead you could probably use an extra set of stock trail ignitors rewired without the split function (wired as 2 seprate ignitors).

Do these coils have their own igniter built in like the LS1s? or they're just plan coils?

My suggestion would be get an FD igniter, easy.

they are just the bosch bare coils, left over from the microtech which could fire them directly. thats about the only thing the microtech did right :P. anyway, ignition is definitely one of my biggest obstacles and always has been. do i need one FD ignitor total? one for each coil? one for leading, one for trailing? Is there a write up somehwhere? I searched but the search only brings back threads from like 2002.

One FD ignitor total, but that would fire the lead coils off the same circuit which might not be good. A normal FD or FC lead coil is a single 2 pole coil, not 2 coils within a housing. I would go for 2 FC trail ignitors, which would be 4 actual ignitors if wired right.
