E6K RPM based staging?

Ive just recently picked up a used E6K that will be used on an N/A ITB'd 6port. Im planning on using 4 injectors in a staged arrangement, and do not want the secondaries coming online until 4k or 5k RPM regardless of load on the engine.

So my theorhetical plan is as follows... (lets assume 4K RPM as the desired staged point)

- set the fuel set up as staged and pick staging point... for example, lets say at 70% throttle

- place the primary and secondary injectors on their own dedicated relay controlled power circuits
- primary injector circuit always on when the key is on
- secondary circuit relay grounded via the Haltech through one of the PWM outputs at 4k RPM

- tune the fuel/load table in a linear fashion up to 4k RPM (ie. not cutting pulse width after staging point), and then after 4k RPM actually tune the injector pulse widths as a staged system

simply put, will this work? im positive im not the first person come up with this scheme. If it has been tried and failed, is there any other viable option to specifically stage the secondaries to not come on until a set RPM?

thanks in advance

It'll work. I'd recommend ditching the staging all together and running a pair of 1000s.

Thanks Ludwig, I honestly would prefer to run it with just a pair of 1000's, but money is pretty limited, so im more or less stuck with using the parts at hand.

What size injectors do you have and what power do you think you'll make?

As it sits im running a set of low mileage lancer EVO9 560's, with the mod's in my sig, roughly tuned with an SAFC-II, I made 185 at the wheels. I hope that by being able to optimize ignition timing along with fuel, and a short runner 50mm x2 ITB, I can break into the low 200's

I'd give running all four at once with no staging a try. Easy enough to try and if you can get them to idle will make tuning easier.
