Haltech e6k to ntk sensor?
e6k to ntk sensor?
Ok Iv been doing some searching and confused myself. First can the ntk 4 wire sensor be wired strait to the e6k without a wb controller. IF so does anyone have a wireing diagram of the ntk sensor(what color is what). I know how to wire it to the haltch. Or will I get the same results with the factory 1 wire sensor without the ntk hook to a wb controller?Does it make any sense to use the ntk 4 wire sensor if your not useing a wb controller?
3 and 4 wires sensors can be wired directly to the Haltech because they are narrow band. Some 4 wire sensors have been known to have ranges of more than 1v, sometimes from 0-2v, these sensors are still narrow band, but their scaling is different than your regular 0-1v sensors. Ive seen these types of sensors on VW/Audi cars.
If you have one of these sensors, make sure you know what their AFR to Voltage is so you know what its telling you.
All wideband sensors are 5 or 7 wires, and work from 0-5V, and need a controller to be wired up to the haltech.

Thanks , I took another look at my sensor and it is a five wire so If I have to have a controller to make it work I think Ill just use my one wire sensor for now and save the other one for a later project.
