HELP !!
I have an E6k on a tII turbo.
Motor and e6k with most components were swapped from a running car into mine.
My car ran well but needed tuning at idle.
After sitting a year plus and initial tuning attempts, e6k wouldn't connect.
e6k was checked out by haltek as ok, and a correction in the wiring harness fixed the connection problem. It now connects. Time for tune.

two tuners & year later
Motor runs fine until 4k rpm then pops and misfires badly. Idles well.
This never happened before. Some work done but nothing of note to change things.
Motor does not free rev. It stops running smoothly same rpm. It pops misfires.
2 tuners have blamed injectors, coils. Changes of these produced no changes.
Tuners say that the fuel mixture changes up or down make no difference.
They say that the e6k must have shielding problems or ?
They say that the injectors don't transition from 2 to 4 injectors as the fuel need increases.
Anyone else have this happen?
My plan is to replace e6k with new haltech sprint, as all mechanical has been checked and replaced.
Does this mean my haltech e6k is bad?
I don't want to pass a bad item on to the next guy.
Haltech check of my ecu was ok.....oops, lapsed into my chant to tuners .......

well,
I bought a haltech sprint re and plan to install.
This will hopefully answer some questions or at least get my car running !!
By the way, Nelson at RRR in santa ana, was a super gentleman and hooked me up.
