E11 auxilliary accessories connections

Guys, I have a couple questions about wiring E11 and specifics with auxilliaries. How do you hook up the oil metering pump to the E11. There are nine wires in original factory wirirng coming out of the metering pump. How do you get the e11 to control the metering pump.

In the existing engine harness there are sensors like water level sensor, oil level sensor, knock sensor, oil pressure sensor, A/C clutch, Power Steering pressure sensor. How are these metered and signaled back to instrument cluster. How do you get these peripherals to talk with the E11? How are you guys wiring you FD's.

Did you guys to eliminate the complete stock engine harness?

Thanks for the help.

Aldo

Most of those things run independently of the main engine harness.
Knock sensor can be ignored, since the Haltech doesn't use them.
I realize the FD doesn't have an AC disable lead off the stock ECU - the Haltech can be wired and programmed to do this if you want - see Haltech manual.
Power steering pressure? Are you serious?

Basically the main engine harness (Mazda calls it an "emissions" harness) is removed and replaced, yes.

White and Blue Connectors on FD

Thanks for the information. What do you do with the white and blue connectors under the dash that are attached to the engine harness hook up to. Do you still need to keep all that wiring.? Do these wires go oil level sensor, coolant temp sensor, clutch switch, neutral switch? What wires need to be kept and what can you cut out? I can't seem to find in the manual the blue or white connector wiring diagrams. I would like to know what these wire go to on both the blue and white connector.

On the yellow connector there is a wire that connects to the fan control. Do you have to keep that wire to connect to control the fans?

Thanks for the help.

Probably you would have been better off getting a jumper harness/patch loom from your Haltech dealer that's if the factory harness is still in good condition. It basically turns your E11 into a plug-n-play version.

Crap, that's what I get for typing too early in the morning. :P
Thanx for catching that...

Yes, all FD's should have the A/C disable function on the stock ECU.

Haltech plug & play harness

I spoke with Claudio at Haltech. At this time Haltech does not make a piggy back harness. I wish they did. My stock harness is not in that good of shape. It's time to rewire and start new.
